Ever wonder why starting a new routine is so difficult? Think about all the new year’s resolutions we make year after year–only to greet the new year with, “I’m just not feeling it today; or because of ‘such and such,’ I can’t do it – I’ll start tomorrow.”
We believe that motivation begets action, and once we get into the habit or get into the proper “mindset,” we’ll definitely do it! Well folks…seems like we have it all backwards. Experts in the field of sports and nutritional psychology now report that ACTION leads to motivation – not the other way around. So, the more we “do,” the more “motivated” we are. In 2016 – rather than waiting for motivation to strike, “let’s just do it“ – that will be our best motivator!!
